My favorite band of all time is the band Live. I have been following
them now for about 12 years. I first heard "I Alone" from Throwing Copper and fell in love. After hearing Throwing
Copper I had to find out who they were and purchased their previously released CD Mental Jewelry. They blow
me away with each and every new CD they release. Ever since the Throwing Copper CD release I am in the record store
on the release day for each new CD. Always have and always will be.
One of the best things about this band is how they care so much to make
every concert personal to their fans. They purposedly play in small venues around the world instead of the huge arenas
to give their fans that personal feeling. Live's concerts are truly amazing and sound spectacular. I have never
been disappointed at any show.
I love Ed's lyrics and the band's sound. He continues to write music about peace and love and everyone
of their songs have special meanings to me. I have a six disc CD changer in my truck and every CD is a Live
CD - I know, pretty lame but I just can't stop listening to them. Whenever in a bad mood I just play a Live CD and it
seems like all my troubles vanish (for the moment anyway!). I would give anything to be able to have just a 10 minute
conversation with Ed. He is my higher power!
